It is not all about defining solutions, but they must be applicacbles. Applicable in part to the physical environment, i.e. materially possible, and free from further nuisances (e.g. biofuels from cereals); but especially socially applicacbles.
Nothing is more difficult than getting people to change their habits, even more so when it comes to giving up certain benefits. This is where the knowledge of the psychological mechanisms involved in the quest for the various artifacts related to progress and consumerism could prove decisive, paving the way for general awareness. This will not happen in a few days, but other pro-ecological measures may run into indifference or lack of perseverance or even suicidal attitudes, if the root causes of our mistakes in civilization are not clearly denounced.
