A priori, there should be little relationship between a defect of character such as cowardice and the much more concrete problem of the environment.
Yet, if one looks at it more closely, it takes a good deal of courage to recognize the mistakes made against nature and above all to renounce harmful habits. It is through a form of cowardice that the individual refuses to embark on the necessary changes of conduct on the pretext that others have not yet embarked on it. We are at the very centre of the resistances that hinder ecological awareness.
