Classical ecology

Traditional ecology stops studying biological balances and disorders in different biotopes, and denounces the abuse of the environment by human activities. Human ecogenetics is interested in the root causes that have led people to a form of progress that is particularly harmful to the environment. Ecopsychology has already proposed this task, but has focused on the therapeutic aspects of environmental relations.

The aim here is to examine not only the constitutional characteristics of the human being which are at the origin of the choices of anti-ecological behavior (natural tendencies to appropriation, laziness, indifference…), but mainly the psychic dysfunctions which lead to environmental nuisances (hypertrophy of the ego, loss of natural empathy, permeability to advertising speeches…).

A dysfunction necessarily has a cause, and it is at this cause that one can act to restore attitudes and behaviour in accordance with natural laws.
