The mechanisms of ecological degradation

Classical ecology already uses biologically decrypting the sometimes very complex mechanisms of different environmental damage. Human ecogenetics proposes to consider these mechanisms in their entirety.

At the origin of biological or biochemical mechanisms are always psychological mechanisms, responsible for inappropriate behaviour. In some cases, these psychological mechanisms are themselves based on biological or biochemical causes. A break between biology and psychology is therefore artificial. It is about preserving the human responsibilities from which harmful behaviour originated.

Human ecogenetics proposes to radically change the situation by looking for the factors that induced these behaviours from the beginning of history. The individual thus feels more victim than guilty. He no longer feels crushed under a total responsibility for his conduct, but can make it include elements outside himself.

This does not prevent an individual self-criticism, on the contrary: the questioning of the system can help to question itself, because it is most often the same elements that concern the whole and the part. Thus, an objective and global critique, scientifically founded, of the factors of civilization that are truly responsible for the current situation could be set up very spontaneously.
