Psychophysiological

Psychophysiological disorders include all disorders affecting the functioning of the body and/or psychism. This class of disorders therefore brings together all the pathologies identified by medicine and psychiatry.

The object of human ecogenetics is to seek their causes either in certain inappropriate human behaviors (related to education, social constraints, food, sexuality), or in the influences of the physical environment (urban planning, promiscuity, sedentary life, noise pollution, neurotoxics, etc.) or in the social environment (moral, frustrations, anxiety, education, conflict, materialism, etc.).

The causal factors identified may in turn be considered as the effects of causes located above in causal chains (e.g., human errors, or natural accidents), which are to be traced back to the root causes. The issue then is whether these root causes of human dysfunction coincide with the causes of ecological disorders.

The coincidence is likely, because the artifices that distance themselves from human genetic potentials have every chance to also distance themselves from the genetic potential of other players in the ecosystem, thus disrupting ecological balances in conjunction with psyche-physiological balances.

Hippocrates taught the need to trace causes. Paradoxically, this better understanding of the root causes of civilization diseases could prove to be one of the keys to the ecological problem that occurred some 2400 years later…
