Welcome

Instinctotherapy is simply a 100% natural diet. Yet, it has generated a great deal of discussion and controversy since its inception.

Perhaps you’ve wondered what all the fuss is about, and what this approach represents to warrant such a media frenzy… Perhaps you’re simply looking for a way to eat in accordance with natural laws, for health or environmental reasons? This website is here to answer your questions and provide solutions to your personal concerns.

You’ll first see that instinctotherapy is not a diet: it doesn’t prohibit any type of natural food, nor does it prescribe the consumption of one product over another. It simply replicates the way all living creatures have nourished themselves since the dawn of life on Earth. It is therefore the quintessential natural diet.

Nor is it a diet in the sense of depriving oneself of culinary pleasures. On the contrary, it is the royal road to authentic gastronomic pleasure, that is, to the pleasure of eating that corresponds to the body’s true needs. Any natural food is all the more delectable the better it meets the body’s needs: this is the fundamental principle of the food instinct. Rehabilitating and re-educating this instinct guarantees both maximum pleasure (generally superior to ordinary gastronomic pleasure) and optimal nutritional balance, a crucial factor for health and well-being.

It is not a therapy in the medical sense (dietary or therapeutic hygiene): it simply eliminates the causes of bodily dysfunction inherent in the numerous artificial processes of conventional diets, particularly those that disrupt the body’s natural eating instinct. Independent of any diagnosis and requiring no prescription, it remains perfectly compatible with standard treatments.

So, why talk about instincto**THERAPY**?

Quite simply because there are far more pathogenic factors in ordinary food than we imagine. Medicine and nutritional science are far from having cataloged them, or even suspected their harmful effects. Avoiding these causes of dysfunction makes it possible, ipso facto, to prevent, mitigate, or even reverse the disorders caused by the daily ingestion of harmful or superfluous products.

The following pages address the main topics concerning natural eating. To find your areas of interest, go to the introduction page, where you’ll find links to the different themes. For a first overview of the questions raised by instinctotherapy, click here: “What is instinctotherapy?”
